April Beaumont- Office Manager

April has a Bachelors degree in Business Management from Southeastern Oklahoma University, and joined the team in June 2008. April’s main concern is patient care; she works closely with the office staff and Dr. Wahid to ensure our patients are pleased with their experience in our office.

Nilofer Ali, R.D.C.S/R.C.S- Cardiac Sonographer

Nilofer joined the team in January 2005. She has been in the medical field since 1984. She holds an M.B.B.S degree she received in Pakistan, which is equivalent to a M.D. in the US. She worked as a physician in Pakistan from 1984-1999, and had the opportunity to work in multiple areas of medicine, focusing mostly on preventive medicine. Nilofer performs all the echocardiograms for our patients.

Allison V. Fletcher, CNMT- Certified Nuclear Medicine Technologist

Allison joined the team in June 2007. She received her Bachelors of Science/Nuclear Medicine degree in 1999 and graduated Summa Cum Laude. She began her career at Baylor University Medical Center, and has been specializing in cardiology since 2001. She is BLS & ACLS certified. Allison performs exercise and pharmacologic stress tests with myocardial perfusion imaging, and her main focus is providing quality patient care.

Tawnya Strawn- Patient Care Coordinator

Tawnya joined our team in July 2009, and is responsible for coordinating the front office/patient care. She works with our patients to ensure they are completely happy with their appointments, and answer any other patient care questions they may have. Tawnya graduated from Princeton and has worked in the medical field for 8 years.

Shannon Lauritzen- Medical Assistant

Shannon joined the team in February 2010. She received her CMA certification from PCI Training center in Dallas, Texas. She is responsible for triaging patients, performing EKG’s, and handling prescriptions for our patients. She is also the coordinator of our coumadin clinic.

Samantha Clayton- Medical Assistant

Samantha joined the team in February 2010. She received her CMA certification from PCI Training center in Dallas, Texas. She is responsible for triaging patients, performing EKG’s, and handling prescriptions for our patients. She is also the coordinator of our pacemaker clinic.
